Activity 1: Old Age Home

Our Volunteers visited the Old age home at Medak and donated Rice, dal and fruits. Enjoyed with them by playing games and singing songs with them. This Rice and dal were brought by our students from their own field. Each student of the college contributed for this activity. People in the home were very happy and wanted such activities in mere future also.

Activity 2: Visit to Balasadanam 

Balasadanam is a child care home at Medak which comprises 20 children who got abandoned from their families. Our volunteers have distributed Stationery like Pencil box, Pencils, Sharpener, Eraser, Scale, Crayon packet along with snacks like bananas. They enjoyed it a lot as our students played with them and also explained to them how to use clean and neat hygienic techniques.

Activity 3: Clean India Programme

The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Dept. of Youth Affairs, GOI, New Delhi has decided to organize the Clean India Campaign from 1^st to 31^st October, 2022. In this regard all the NSS Programme Officers are requested to undertake Cleaning activities in the college by involving the NSS Volunteers. Our student volunteers have actively participated in the cleaning activity at MPDO office, Hanuman Temple, Indira Gandhi Stadium, Railway Station, Medak Bus Station, Medak Church, Dyanchand Statue Chowrasta. 

Activity 4: Swatch Gurukulam

Swach Gurukulam drive is initiative taken by Gurukulam to improve the quality of life and education in Gurukulam schools/ colleges.  Swach Gurukulam drive is a much needed initiative by Gurukulam in order to make everyone realize it is a moral responsibility of everyone to clean their surroundings. Swach Gurukulam drive is organised in all institutions from 5^th September to 11^th September, 2022. This programme was taken up by our college staff and students. For this event our wall posters  was opened by the Additional Collector of Medak district – Prathima Singh on September 03.09.2022.

Activity 5: Helmet Awareness

On International volunteers day, 05.12.2021, Our volunteers have participated in activity giving awareness to the people about 

1. Wear Helmet for two wheeler riders
2. Wear mask
3. Wear seat belt for the people in four wheeler
4. Avoid triple riding

All the people with whom students interacted have responded positively and appreciated our NSS Volunteers for their effort and care put on.

Activity 6: Ganesh Idol Making

Plaster of Paris ganesh idols will pollute the environment as it contains gypsum heated at temperature 250 degrees to 300 degrees. The paint used in it also contains heavy metals such as lead and cadmium which can lead to neurological disorders. To make this aware among the people around our society. We are NSS volunteers of TTWRDC W MEDAK. Have taken initiative to distribute the eco friendly ganesh idol with clay to people around the campus. We also conducted a competition and prize winners were distributed with prizes.

Activity 7: VVPAT AWARENESS

Our students have got the age to vote 2023. So for this we got an opportunity to teach our students how to vote in VVPAT Equipment displayed at the District Collectorate, Medak. This demonstration helped our students to understand how to vote also they will explain the same to their family members. This was a very good initiative taken by the gov to spread awareness among the people how to vote.

Activity 8: Farmers Day

On 23rd December, 2022 our volunteers visited a field in ghanpur village and helped the farmers by planting rice saplings. This made the villagers very happy as their work got completed in a day. Our students planted sapling in 242 sq yards of field.
