PHYSICAL EDUCATION WING:
INTRODUCTION:
TELANGANA TRIBAL WELFARE RESIDENTIAL DEGREE COLLEGE, Medak has been actively encouraging students to participate in various sports & games as it believes that there should be holistic development of an individual. the department of Physical Education conducts sports and games for the staff and students viz., Volleyball, Kabbadi, Athletics, Tennikoit and also Indoor Games like Carroms, Badminton and Chess and other traditional games. Our students have excelled and Won Prizes in various Intra-College, Inter-College and University Competitions. To encourage the students, facilities are also made available even beyond college hours and transport facility is provided for all who participate in various sports & games beyond college hours.

MISSION:
To create awareness of the importance and benefits of Physical Activities in Day-To-Day Life.
To encourage regular Physical Activities for a Positive & Healthy Life-Style .
To develop moral values through Sports And Games.
To motivate the students for mass participation in Sports/Games.
To enable the students change their attitudes towards life i.e., Positive Thinking, Healthy Criticism Etc.
To leading a Happy, Vigorous And Abundant Life. Physical Education Activities provide ample Opportunities.
To develop traits such as cooperation, respect to others, Loyalty, Sportsmanship, Self-Confidence Etc. All these qualities help a person to make him a good citizen.
FACILITIES:
We have various facilities in our college like courts for Kabaddi, Volleyball, Tennikoit and Badminton sports equipment for Indoor & Outdoor Games etc. daily sports and activity sessions are conducted and also Yoga on every Friday, and Zumba Dance on every Saturday. These classes ae conducted for students physical and mental well being.
We are also having a Memorandum of Understanding with MEDAK DISTRICT ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION which states that every year athletics association conducts a battery test, selects the students and TRAINS THEM.
We have an MOU with Indira Gandhi Stadium, Medak, which states that our college students will be trained every year in that Stadium.
ROCK CLIMBING:
Rock climbing is a sport in which participants climb up, down or across natural rock formations or artificial rock walls. The goal is to reach the summit of a formation or the endpoint of a usually predefined route without falling. Rock climbing is a physically and mentally demanding sport, one that often tests a climber’s strength, stamina, alertness and balance along with mental control. Knowledge of proper climbing techniques and use of specialized climbing equipment is crucial for the safe completion of routes
To provide these benefits to students of TTWREIS gurukulam has given opportunity to students to get training in Rock climbing course held at Rock climbing School.
Four students from our college the following students got opportunity for training in Rock Climbing Course held at Rock climbing School, Bhongir, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, Telangana.

The training was held from 15th September 2018 to 19th September 2018. P.Shruthi of MPCs II year got selected for Sports- Skiing course held at, IHCAE-Chemehy, South Sikkim from 4th February2019 to 17thFebruary 2019. She was one among the 30 students who got selected for this course. P. Shruthi has received Best Trainee award for her excellence in the course.
