About the Department:

The Department of Physics has its origin in 2017, during the period the college was affiliated to the Osmania University, Hyderabad in Telangana, under the TTWRDC society. B.Sc. Degree Course with Mathematics, Physics and Computer application as combination was started in 2017. At present the Department is offering the one UG course.

The department caters to B.Sc. (M.P.Cs) Physics and is continuously upgrading itself according to the changing curriculum and needs of the time of Annual to Semester to CBCS systems.  The collective efforts of students, lab staff and teachers have delivered wonderful results with continual increase in the number of students scoring 90% and above in papers.

To build a foundation for excellence and encourage the development of the Institution as a premier Institution by igniting and promoting enthusiasm, interests and passion, in the study of physics, in professional courses, as a  part of  curriculum.

MISSION:

To awaken the young minds and discover their talents both in theory and in practical Physics, through dedication to teach, commitment towards students and innovative instructional methods like PPT & Visual Aids

►To support the developmental activities of the College and make the Department vibrant.

►To make vital contributions in areas such as faculty, modern labs, and demonstrate a high level of competence in the study of Physics.

►To organize and sustain efficient operating systems in the Department for realization of our objectives as Institution of eminence and International standards.

The courses offered by this college is of student’s centric nature and help them to understand the basic laws of nature and develop necessary skills to apply them to the advanced area of studies. This course provides adequate knowledge of the basic course Physics.

The name of my college is TTWRDC(W) Medak – Faculty of science. I love my college a lot because it possesses all the qualities of an ideal college. My college have excellent course curriculum and faculty members. Our lectures hold a respectable place in the societies. Our faculties present educational process/programs in a congenial manner. Like other colleges in the city my college is not built to earn profits. The target here is to impart excellent education and come out with bright careers so as the shape our future in the best possible manner. Three years of my college life is amazing.
