PANACEA

Students of Tribal welfare are entitled to better health care facilities as well due to the latest policy initiative, PANACEA.Through this Panacea ,the authorities can monitor the health status of all institutions across the state. The round the clock facility with centralised control system located with the society headquarters at Masab Tank will monitor the health and hygiene of the students with the help of Health assistants appointed in every hostel.

ii) 24x7 Staff Nurse available at college:

Armed with medicines and first aid equipments , health assistants will be regularly updating health profiles of students 24x7 at the control centre, to answer queries and take care of students, doctors will be made available.

iii) Referring students to super speciality hospital :

Based on the interaction with staff Nurse and with doctors at the control centre, a decision will also be taken on taking the ward to the nearest government hospital and to the super speciality hospitals if need be.

iv) Special care and diet to sick students:

The students of Telangana Tribal welfare residential Institutions have been provided with nutrition’s food and special care will be always taken for students by continuous monitoring of their health by house mistress and health assistant.

 

HEALTH AND HYGIENE

Health and hygiene practices serve to safeguard individuals and communities from infectious diseases and promote overall well-being. Regular handwashing, proper sanitation, and personal hygiene habits reduce the transmission of pathogens, preventing illnesses like colds, flu, and gastrointestinal infections. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness in living and working environments minimizes the risk of contamination and the spread of harmful bacteria and viruses. By prioritizing health and hygiene, individuals can enjoy a higher quality of life and contribute to the collective effort of disease prevention and public health.

 

HEALTH CAMP:

Health camps are conducted in the campus by UPHC Medak, to promote health and well being of students and to maintain record of chronic cases.

Camp details:

  1. Haemoglobin testing
  2. Thyroid testing
  3. Follow up of anemic students
  4.  Testing of chronic cases

VACCINATION DRIVE:

Urban Primary Health Centre  personal   in coordination with District Medical and Health Office visited our college to conduct Vaccination   drive on 11-12-2021.

  • The main objective of this camp is to complete 100 percent  free vaccination of students and to immunize the students against  Covid 19

HEALTH CAMP- PANACEA:

Health camps are conducted   by  the Panacea in collaboration with Synergy India Foundation in  collaboration with Panacea Command   Centre,  Gurukulam to screen the students; group of doctors like dentist, gynaecologist general physician and  lab technician visited our college, screened the students, conducted HB test; they ruled  out dental problems and referred them to highest centre and provided spectacles to few students and multigrain chikkis  to   moderate anaemic students.

KANTI VELUGU CAMP:

Camp was conducted by UPHC Medak  on 16-02-2023( Kanti Velugu):

Kanti Velugu Program   was conducted in the college by the UPHC, Medak.  They organized  eye camp, screened all the students and staff, detected few students with eye problems and  provided medicine and spectacles to students with defective sight and reading glasses to a few students.

HEALTH CAMP:  

Camp was organized by the UPHC, Medak on the request of principal madam. The lab technician  from UPHC. has come, collected samples of thyroid students and staff. the staff of the UPHC are very supportive and reports were given within two days.
