- The dept. of Physics has been established in the year 2017 with a student strength of 18 with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and 18 with Mathematics,Physics&Computer Science combinations in E.M
- The dept. was started with two faculty Smt.B.Mamatha then added with Ms.B.Shirisha, Ms.K.Manasa in the successive years. Smt.G.Sunitha was appointed as Degree Lecturer in Physics in the year 2019. Now a part time lecturer is working from 11.11.2022
- Ms.B.Pooja was appointed as Lab assistant.
- During the years 2018-19 the strength has been raised to 51.
- At present the department is running with 2 teaching staff, 1 administrative staff, and 1 technical staff.
Since its inception, we are fortunate to have sincere and dedicated teachers in the department. Teachers strive tirelessly to achieve the goals set by our predecessors to give confidence to the youth of the tribal region to go for higher studies in Science, particularly Physics.
In our department, students are constantly motivated and encouraged to follow the 3-Ss, “Sincere - Systematic - Study” without which it is difficult to crack a subject like Physics. Over the years, many of our students have obtained the Graduation Degree in Physics, pursued higher studies and are doing well in their lives. Some of our students have secured positions in the “Central Universities and NITs” across the country.
We are proud of our students, some of whom have become teachers themselves, in Higher Secondary Schools and Colleges
“Teachers have produced Teachers” in the subject, and that too Teachers much better than we are!!!
