SPORTS ACHIEVMENT
Sports are necessary because it brings physical and mental fitness to the person involved in this on regular basis. As we all know that living a relaxed and comfort life, we need a sound mind and a sound body. Gurukulam encourages the students to participate in sports by providing utmost facilities in many aspects like special training sessions by physical director, providing sports material and accessories, Special diet, sports camp, sports certificates etc.,. Most of the students from our institution participated and bagged medals, brought laurels to the institutions at state level, University level and National level also.
In the Inter collegiate athletic championship for men and women conducted at Warangal, our student P.Divya pavani, II-B.A(H.E.P) got individual championship and the team got overall championship.
1) in the Inter collegiate tournments, we got 1st place in Volley ball conducted at Warangal
2) In the 1st mega state meet conducted at at Miryalaguda , TGTWRDC(G) kothagudem at palvancha got overall championship and P. Divya pavani II BA (HEP) has got individual championship.
3) In the Inter society league meet conducted at warangal our student V.Swathi I-B.COM(G) got athletic championship.

Rock Climbing and Skiing
Gurukulam provides many opportunities to students to explore themselves to reach their goals other than academic activities. One of them is Rock climbing which is so powerful in overcoming fears. Doing things with single mind is one way to combat anxiety and stress for the future. Special camps were conducted to train the students across India.
- Our students P.Divya pavani, II-B.A(H.E.P),Bhavani, Ashritha pavani,Mounika III BZC, performed rock climbing at the camp conducted at Bhuvanagiri, Ydadri Bhuvanagiri district.
- P.Divya pavani, II-B.A(H.E.P),Bhavani III-BZC performed skiing at Sikkim camp conducted by the Gurukulam authorities.
AIESEC
International association of students in economics and commercial sciences. It is an initiative to activate youth towards achieving the sustainable development goals. Many students from gurukulam utilized the opportunity and got selected for internship program and visited different countries to learn the culture and practices.
Objectives of International Internship:
- To provide a cross-cultural and global learning experience.
- To gain an International outlook on contemporary world challenges.
- To nurture future leaders and intellectuals.
- To imbibe the spirit of team-work in project implementation.
- To strengthen communication and soft skills.

At, TGTWRDC(G), Kothagudem, we conducted the following activities
- Motivational program by speaker Laxmi mahesh for all the students
- Vigillence awareness week by ITC-PSPD and BHEL members
- Essay writing competition by Mudra Society.
- Deabate leagues according to academic calender on various topics
- Interaction with local enterpreneurs for all the commerce students
- Internal Motivational program conducted for all students by the faculty
- Supernova competitions at college level
- Students watched live telecast on T-SAT channei about FORTITUDE-2020, delivered by Honourable Secretary sir.
- Students from life science visited the timber depot and nearest pond eco system.

- Preparation of Flower boquet by Creative club students.
- 10 students from I year attended work shop on Basic level Zumba at Hyderabad.

Telangana Association Conducted 1st Telangana State Men_23,Women_23 years M en & Women Athletics Chamionshiop 2021 hold at GMC Bala yogi Athletics stadium Gachibowli Hyderabad on 21.08.2021 & 22.08.2021.
- In this Competition, our students V.Swathi II-B.COM (Computers) got 1ST place in the event Shot put and Discuss Throw.
- One more Student P.Divya Pavani III-B.A(HEP) got 1stplace in Triple jump.

We Participated South zone Inter KHO-KHO (WOMEN) Championship at Kakatiya University in warangal Dist. From 17.03.2022 to 20.03.2022.
P.Mani III-B.COM(Computers) and Prasanna II- B.COM(Computers) got Bronze Medal in South zone Inter KHO-KHO (WOMEN) Championship at Kakatiya University in warangal Dist.
P.Mani III-B.COM(Computers) and Prasanna II- B.COM(Computers) , both were selected for all India KHO-KHO Championship.
