                                          Mess Committee

Mess Committee is responsible for the smooth functioning of the hostel and mess facilities at TGTWRDC(G) Kothagudem Campus under the supervision of the nominated committee Chairman. The Mess Committee at TGTWRDC(G) Kothagudem Campus, is a management-run body which constitutes of members from of the institute. It is responsible for managing the food and store infrastructure and food items. We believe that our hostel and mess should be a ‘Home away from Home’ for all students and thus strive to improve various aspects related to food issues are resolved at the earliest. The Mess committee is constituted by the following members for the session 2024-25.

Roles and responsibilities:

(i)Acts as a bridge between the administration,caterers,hostel authorities on one side and the students  on the other.

(ii)Facilitates the grievance redressal of students and communicates the same to the concerned authorities.

(iii)Keeps a check on the daily issues regarding the quality of food,the Hygiene issues in the kitchen,menu follow up etc.

(iv)Ensures an enriching stay at the campus.

(v)Coordinates with other clubs and committees for the maintaining healthy diet and providing nutritious food items for students.

Functions:

(i)To provide them Menu conducive for the overall growth.

(ii)To provide freshly cooked hot and nutritive food consisting of all essential macro and micronutrients.

(iii)To provide good healthy and hygienic food.

(iv)It is designed to serve the interests of the student’s community in competitive cultural field and provide an ambience for their overall whole some personality development by providing them healthy diet.

(v)To provide the seasonal fruits,vegetables,legumes and cereals.

Frequency of Meeting:

The Hostel&Mess Committee conducts meeting twice in a semester, and schedule additional meetings as per the requirement of institute.
