Women Empowerment Cell
The Women Empowerment Cell at Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Devarakonda, is dedicated to promoting gender equality, empowerment, and inclusivity among students and the tribal community.
Objectives:
1.Awareness Workshops: The cell organized workshops and seminars on women's rights, gender equality, and leadership development. These sessions aimed to educate students about their rights and empower them to become agents of change in their communities
2. Skill Enhancement Programs: Various skill enhancement programs were conducted to equip women with practical skills such as communication, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship. These programs aimed to enhance their employability and economic independence.
3. Self-Defense Training: Self-defense workshops were organized to empower women with essential self-defense techniques and strategies. These sessions aimed to enhance women's confidence and ability to protect themselves in challenging situations.
4. Career Guidance: The cell provided career guidance and counseling sessions to help women explore career opportunities and make informed decisions about their future. Guest speakers from diverse fields were invited to share their insights and experiences.
