Coaching for CPGET and IIT - JAM

Most of the students are interested to do their Post-Graduation in Mathematics but they are not in a proper planning due to lack of guidance. Keeping this in mind, our department is encouraging those students and offering coaching classes after their regular classes every year. As a result of our effort, many students got good ranks and joined university campuses and premiere institutions every year.

We told the students that they do not get good employment opportunities only by doing graduation and encouraged them to complete their masters. We motivated the students who are good at Mathematics to prepare for various PG entrance examinations and supported them with free entrance coaching.

ACTION TAKEN:

We have identified the students who have good Mathematical skills and motivated them to do M.Sc. Mathematics. We assured them to offer free coaching for various entrances and planned for the schedule. We have registered the students and conducted classes as per schedule. We also provided material and conducted model examinations. As a result of our effort, many students got good ranks and joined university campuses and premiere institutions.

National Mathematics day:

On Behalf of National Mathematics day for the year 2021,We department  of Mathematics TTWRDC(W)Khammamm conducted quiz competition  on 21-12-2021 for maths stream  students from I to III years 5 groups were formed by mixing all the  students from I to III years and conducted quiz competitions accordingly on 21-12-2021. We invited a special guest  K.Narasimha Rao Assistant professor in Mathematics  of Government Women degree  colleges Khammam and sir gave valuble information regarding  the application of Mathematics in daily life need to celebrate mathematics day.He  awarded prizes for winners of quiz competitions conducted on 21-12-2021.Later he represented  an extension lecturer on diagonalaisation of vector.

The presentation was so interesting and students got highly motivated and learned many techniques of problem solves skills from sir .Some students gave their ideas regarding celebration of national Mathematics day.The names of the candidates are CH.Prasanna who gave speech regarding national mathematics day,N.Sreeja gave PPT  Presentation on the same topic Rani written a poetry regarding the day. This programme was concluded when K.Narasimha rao felicitated by our principal madam& faculty.

Quiz Topic:Three Dimensional Geometry

About the program:

To promote a sense of competitiveness among the students, a quiz competition on the topic Three Dimensional Geometrywas organised on 28^th February, 2023 on the eve of NationalScience Day. Totally, 20 students from B.Sc final year in 4 teams @5 members a team  participated in the competition. Another 17 students were present for the programme. The department's entire faculty engages in the competition.
