Ragging is an act, which is likely to cause insult or annoyance or fear or apprehension or threat or intimidation or outrage of modesty or injury to students. This is a heinous crime, which is uncivilised and demonic. There are instances when some psychologically weak students have committed suicide in degree colleges because of ragging. Ragging is prohibited within or outside the educational institutions.
