Campus Life - Why TTWRDC GIRLS DAMMAPETA?
Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College for Girls Dammapeta is one of 22 Telangana Tribal Welfare Degree Colleges, which is affiliated to Kakatiya University. It was established in 2017 to provide quality and free education for Tribal women. Since 2017 it has been working for the development of the students. The College is located in main centre in Dammapet. It is rich in natural flora and fauna. The college was accredited to 2F under NAAC 2023.

The college has highly equipped laboratories for chemistry, zoology, botany, physics, and computer lab. We have a well organized library will lot of book and the installation of e-library .We also have ICT room, digital room to improve learning efficiency of students, seminar hall for multi-purpose and wellness centre to monitor students’ health and to furnish medical care.
The college has adequate number of qualified, competent and committed faculty, in combination with the sincere and dedicated nonteaching and administrative staff, contributes to the sublime cause of effective learner centered and innovative teaching learning process. The institution facilitates the organization of various co-curricular, extra-curricular activities apart from hosting the required student friendly activities and extension services.
FOOD FACILITIES:
The students are accommodated with hostel and food facilities. The menu was designed with at most care in the intention to provide nutritious food for the young growing women.

A special diet is provided to the students who falls ill, Anemic students, Sports persons, NCC and NSS Students as they takes special training and their body needed extra food.

DAILY ACTIVITIES:
The students are engaged with daily Time table which was well designed from Morning till night. The students are kept in 24 hours supervision by the faculty.
5:00 am to 6:00 am – Morning Exercise
6:00 am to 6:30 am – Learning Session (current affairs)
6:00 am to 7:00 am – Special training for sports students / NCC Training
6:30 am to 8:00 am – free time
8:00 am to 8:45 – Break fast
8:45 am to 9:00 am – Morning Assembly
9:10 am to 1:00 pm – Class timings
1:00 pm to 2:00 pm – lunch time
2:00 pm to 2:50 pm – class timings
3:00 pm to 5:10 pm – club activities
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
Our college is enrolled with the extracurricular activities like NCC (National Cadet Corps), NSS (National Service Scheme). The college runs many clubs like Music and Dance club, literary club, Drama club, Stem club, Creative club, Theatre club, Commerce club. We conduct regular competition like quiz, Essay writing, singing, Dancing etc.

NCC AND NSS:
The College NSS and NCC unit play an equivalent role in shaping a student’s personality impart the valuable qualities in the students like discipline, confidence, service, patriotism and shapes them to be a good citizen. They have a way for students to develop as an individual. College conducts lot activities as part of NCC and NSS like village cleaning program, awareness programs, rallies etc
CLUB ACTIVITY:
The club activities are involved in the daily time table to improve the extra-curricular activities among the students. The Club Mentors are appointed to each club from the staff to organize the activities to conduct. The students are also involved to supervise the dealing of the club as; president, vice-president, treasures. The students are elected by the students and also by the mentors of the club through voting system. A specific time table is also allotted for every club.

E PLUS CLUB:
The collect offers innovative activities to enrich the student social speaking and language skills. E+ club or English plus Club are designed to develop student’s creativity, to bring down stage fear. The club is conducted twice a week, in each session the students are given a topic to deal on. The students form in groups, make discussions and writes up on the topic and each student comes forward to speak on the topic.
