Academics - ACADEMIC CALENDER

                                                  *****Academic Calender year 2021*****

         Academic year for Degree Students started from the June - July and ended with the  final semester exams held in the month of April-May. There were two semesters for each Academic Year.

 I SEMESTER – JUNE – NOVEMBER

II SEMESTER – DECEMBER – MAY

                             Classes for 2nd years and 3rd years starts from June and for first years started from July. There is a perfect academic plan for every Institution depends upon their concerned Universities almanac. The well-designed Academic calendar not only plans & Schedules a wide range of Curricular, Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular activities for the students, but also helps to equip them with the required skill-set and prepares them to enhance their potential in various academic and non-academic activities.

January:

National voters Day:

              * National voters Day was conducted during the online class on 25th January 2022.

               * In this program studenrs actively participate d in online class also. 

               * Principal gave the valuable speeches about vote and importance of vote.

               * In this programme student s gave speeches of vote to the neighbors and elders. 

February:

National women's Day:

  • Natinal women's Day was celebrated on 13th February 2022 in our College. 
  • On this occasion Principal, Vice Principal and Staff participated by giving valuable speeches. 
  • Poster Presention and Quiz competition was conducted in this programme. 
  • 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year students participated in this programme by gave their  speeches. 
  • One of the Greatest women ruler Rani Rudramma Devi Poster Presented in this program by Students. 

Darwin Day:

  • National Darwin day was celebrated on 13th Feb 2022 in our College. 
  •  In this program Principal, Vice Principal, all the Faculty, and Students are participated. 
  •  Life science faculty gave their valuable speeches regarding the services of Darwin to the Science, significance to celebrate this event. 
  •  Students also gave speeches, some students are prepared colourful charts which explain the Evalutionary process. 

World Cancer Day:

  •  We celebrate world cancer day on 04 February 2022 in our college. 
  •  In this program, Principal, Vice Principal, all Faculty and all the Students are participated.
  •  Zoology Faculty explained the theme "close the care gap".
  • Reasons of Cancer disease, types of Cancer and treatment methods for it and  precautions are explained  by Science Faculty. 

June :

  •  Online classess were conducted for all the degree 3 years students as per the shedule.

July:

  • Plantation of useful saplings in the campus was taken up, as a part of Haritha Haram.
  • preparation of III and  V Semester Exams.

August:

  • Online classes were conducted as per the time table.
  • preparation of 6th semester exams.
  • Fullfilment of Practical records correction.
  • Farewell to Final year students.
  • Cultural competitions should be conducted on the occasion of Independence Day.

SEPTEMBER:

  • Teachers Day celebrations was organized.
  • Preparation of students for the university level games and competitions.

OCTOBER:

  • Bridge course for 1st year students.
  • preparation of 2nd and 4th Semester exams.
  • 6th sem results was declared by University.
  •  Online seminar on Muscle Contraction was organised by Department of Zoology and delivered by DR.Hari Krishna Reddy, Principal, Kakathiya Physiotherapy College, Warangal.

NOVEMBER:

  • Regular classes as per shedule .
  • All Club activities  and E+ club as per Acadamic Calender .
  • Healthy Thursday.

                  World science day was celebrated on November 10th in every year as a part of Academic Calendar this year we celebrated that. 

1.In that programme students have participated and presented models and charts regarding science. 

2.Given speeches on importance of science in humans life. And 4 Best performers were awardee with prizes and certificates. 

National Education Day:

                       Nation al Education day is celebrated on 11th November every year.  As part of the event, students have presented charts on importance of education the life of every individual. 

National childrens Day:

               1.This is the great day to all the childrens in Indian.

               2.We celebrates the children day in the occasion of our first prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru birthday. 

               3.He was a great freedom and loggest Prime Minister of India. 

               4.Jawaharlal Nehru mostly likes the childrens because we celebrates day. 

               5.In this great occasion all students participated in all games, enjoyed alot. 

               6.We had completed the National childrens day successfully. 

Students Election Council:

17.11.2021

National Library Week :

                              National Library week celebrated from 14th to 20th November. Students and Faculty have actively Participated in the celebrations. 

                      1.Principal, Vice-Principal, Faculty and Students shared their views on favourite books and how they got inspired through the books.

  • Seminar on Introduction of Embriology organised by Botany Department and delivered by Dr.Umadevi, professor in Botany, Kavitha Memorial Degree and PG college on 24th. 
  • Freshers party celebrations on 27th. 
  • Preparation for  Games.
  • Student seminars as part of Subject Forum Activities.
  • CGC review meeting was  conducted on 23rd Novemeber.
  • Activity on voilence againest to women was conducted on 25th Novemeber.
  • Constitutional and National Law Day celebration on 26th.
  • Conduct of Student counicil elections on 27th.
  • 1st and 2nd Dose of vaccination to students and staff.
  • As part of Community Outreach program, NSS unit  ineracted with farmeres and educated them on the safety measures to be taken to avoid OMICRON on 30th 

DECEMBER:

  • Classes as p re shedule. 
  • All the club activities and E+ club.
  • NSS students conducted various activities to educate students on AIDS .
  • As part of Community Outreach program NSS unit visited OLDAGE HOME and distributed Fruits and Biscutes.
  • Celebrated ANTI CORRUPTION DAY on 8th .
  • WORLD HUMAN RIGHTS DAY celebrations by Arts dept and NSS unit.

Medical plants Exhibition Day:

                                    In the part of Academic calendar, all students collected some medicinal plants for do celebration on 15.12.2021.

                   Students collected various medicinal plants and exhibited and give an explanation on regarding that. Some student's explained commercial value of plants, how government are used in phaymencitcal. 

 

All play -No work:

                        As an year end relaxation the students and staff has spent 24th December 2021 playing different games, like musical chairs, thug of war etc. 

 

Mathematics Day:

                   As a tribute to the birth anniversary famous Mathematician Srinavasa Ramanujam, students have a how cased mathematical concept s through charts and experiments. 

                        Students have passed puzzles on numbering and reason ing to the staff and other students, sirisha from 2nd mpcs was expressd the role of importance of mathematics in daily life.

Clubs:

  • Clubs are nothing but, each student can explore interests of their choice.

  • There are around 8 clubs Literary club, Music and dance Club, Creative Club, Theatre Club, STEMS club, Commerce Club, Community Out Reach, Enterpreneur Cell.  

  • Every month one of the clubs shows their activities.

E-Plus club:

  • The E-Plus Club was started with an intention to provide the students a take-off point to the world of English. This creates opportunities to enhance their taste in reading, equip them with a sense of appreciation of literary expressions and their scope to speak in English fluently. These activities in the E-Plus Club aspire to nurture and enhance the literary and creative skills of students, if they are conducted in a regular and serious manner by all the stake holders.

CGC:

  • The Career Guidance Cell has been catering  the needs of students with the following objectives: To conduct a survey among students on their career options. To organize programmes to create awareness about the importance of higher studies in India and Abroad. To organize coaching classes on CAT, TOEFL, GRE etc.
  • Our main Motto is to make students aware about EEE.

  • Every week 6 hrs are alloted for  Career Counselling/PG Coaching to all the three years students by the lecturer concerned.

January:

National Voters Day:

                      National Voters Day was conducted during the online class on 25th January 2022.

                            1. In this programme students activeoy participated in online class also. 

                            2. I gave the some information about Vote and importance of Vote. 

                            3. As the part of program students aware their parents and neighbors on importance of vote.

Febrauary:

                    We celebrate world cancer day on 04.Feb.2022 at our college. 

                         1.In this occasion Principal, Vice Principal, Faculty and Students are participated. 

                         2.Zoology faculty explained the theme "close the care gap".

Darwin Day:

                      *Student also gave speeches, some are prepared charts which explains the evoluting process.

National Womens Day:

National womens Day was celebrated on 13th feb 2022 in our college.

             * In this occasion Principal, Vice-Principal, Staff and Students are participated.

             *Poster Presentation and Quiz Competition was conducted in this programme.

             * One of the greatest women ruler "Rani Rudrama Devi" poster presented in this programme.

August:

IQAC meeting:

                Today we have conduct IQAC meeting, the following points are discussed

                          1. Criterion incharges are going to plan for collecting the information. 

                          2. Plan to prepare a meeting with all Faculty members to explain about each criteria for   

                                collecting the information. 

                          3. Reveing the academic wise time table as per kakatiya University norms and also updating

                               teaching dairies. 

                          4. Introducing the certificate courses. 

                          5. Planning to conduct departmental extension lectures. 

National Handloom Day:

                              We have conducted National Handloom Day on 08.08.2022.

                              In this program, all the Students, Faculty, Vice-Principal and Principal are participated. In this programme II BA and III BA students are some hand craft items prepared and show. Some II BA students gave a speech on importance of National Handloom Day .

Monthly Staff Meeting:

Principal conducted meeting with staff regarding Academic purpose (KU) the following points are discussed below.

                * Principal instructed all house incharges to make calls to the students to report the college.

                *Principal told to all faculty to complete 100% syllabus by taking extra classes of should get 100% results.

                *Every faculty should follow timetable .

                * No faculty is allowed to take mobile phone to the class room.

                *Plan of Action of write uo NAAC SSR.

                * Academic calendar should be follow facutly.

Quite India Movement:

We have conducted Quite India movement on 09.08.2022. In the part of this occasion, we conducted essay writing competition for the students.

In this occasion, Vice-Principal and some Faculty members observations this competition.

International youth Day:

      we have conduct International youth Day on 12.08.202,each and every student enthusiastically participated in this programme. Few studens delivered speech about International Youth Day. 

              2nd MPC and MPCs students performed skits and Dances. 3rd BZC students performed 'Sm of solutations'. Few faculty members delivered speech, how now a days youth are spoiling their lives by addicting to Alcohol, drugs and some other bad habits. Due to this reason they are unalle to reached their goal and failing lead a successfully life. 

Independence Day:

                          

          On 15.08.2022, in our Institution we have celebrated Independence Day. On this occasion our principal mam along with our faculty and students hoisted the flap. Our Principal given her valuable speech and remembered the great National Leaders who has sacrificed their life's for our Nation some of our students sang patriotic songs, given speeches, acted skits and performed dances. NCC students performed pyramids. 

World Mosquito day:

              In our institution we celebratd masquito day on 20th August 2022, in this program all the Students, Faculty, Principal, Vice Principal are participated

       1. Life science Faculty create awareness about the problems caused by mosquito biting and precautions. 

       2.3rd BZC students Sushmitha gave a speech on different types of diseases caused by mosquitoes. 

       3. 3rd BZC students sing a perady song on this event. 

       4. 2nd BZC students also gave speech on problems, precautions caused by mosquito bite and control measures to  avaoid mosquito bite. 

IQAC meeting:

                 Today we have conducted IQAC meeting, discussed the following points. 

                             1. Department wise activities for academic year 2023-2023

                             2. Collecting student data from CGC and Alumni team. 

                             3. Action plan IQAC for the academic year 2022-2023.

Sports Day:

As a part of Academic calender we celebrated sports day at our college on 29th August 2022.

The program started with prayer at 9:00AM all the students and faculty were very energetic that day .

             *All the Faculty including Principal and Vice-Principal participated in this program.

             * Various sports and games were organised by our college sports department on this day in which students participates according to their intrests.For the faciu;ty also play the simple games like musical chiars,spoon lemon,thug of war...

September:

Nutrition week:

                 Our Institution we celebrate National Nutrition week on September 1st. In this program all the students, faculty, vice principal, principal are participated. 

              1. Science students collect vegetables, cerealy from our college store room display them in front of all

                 and explain the nutrituons, minerals, vitamins present in those things. 

              2. Give a explanation of benifita to eat them

              3.Our students also collect fruits from our college garden and explain the benifita,nutrienta presents in   those fruits. 

              4. Science faculty also gave speech on the theme of 2022- celebrate a world of "flavors".

              5. Finally our Principal mam conclude the program with her speech on the importance of health,     

                  healthy eating habits ect. 

Teachers day:

                         In our institution we celebrated Teachers day on 05.09.2022. In all part of this occasion we conducted self teaching with all II, III year student s in the morning session.Afternoon we are all gathered togather means faculty, principal, vice principal and students. Students gave speeches

             On this occasion, sining songs and also perform dance, skits regarding the role of a teachers. 

Literacy Day:

                                In our Institution we have conducted literacy day on 08.09.2022. In the part of this occasion we conducted essay writing competition for the students and distributed prizes to the students those who got 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed. Not only essay writing, we participated in rally program along with our Principal mam, Vice Principal mam, Staff and Students. 

International Democracy Day:

                   In our Institution, we celebratded International Democracy Day on 15th  September 2023. In this program, all the II BA and III BA Students, Lecturers, Principal and Vice Principal are participated. 

       1. Political science faculty create awareness about the importance of Democracy and value of each vote. 

       2. IInd BA students gave a speech on Democracy and gave an explanation about Democracy. 

       3. IIIrd BA student s also have a speech on important of Democracy and the types of Democracy. 

       4. IInd BA student s are did the chart presentation about Democracy

       5. Principal mam also gave speech about Democracy and expalin awareness about the vote. 

World Ozone Day:

                     In our institution we the department of chemistry celebrated "World Ozone Day" On 17th September 2022. In this programme Principal, Vice Principal, Lecturers and all the student s are participated. 

Department of chemistry created an awareness among the student s about the importance of ozone. 

 student s made a ppt on world ozone day. They explained what is ozone, what is ozone depletion and how to prevent each and every slide. 

                   II MpC, II BZC, III BZC student s given speech on World Ozone Day. 

October:

International Day of Girl Child :

                       Being a girls institution, we have celebrated International Day of girl and child. Showcasing the role of girl in every humans life. 

All the students along with the staff have participated in the event Enthosotically through their performance. 

Girl students potrayed the multifareted role of girls through skits, songs, group dance performance. 

November:

National Education Day:

                On the occasion of National Education Day students have participated in several activities to make awareness and importance of education for our lives.

                      The activities they are participated in essay writting competition.

        All teaching & Non-Teaching staff participated in the meetoing and gave valuable speeches to the students.

National cancer Day:

                                                                        

                  We celebrated World Cancer Day on 07.11.2022 at our college. 

                        1. In this occasion Principal, Vice Principal, all the Faculty Members and all students 

                            are participated. 

                        2. Zoology Faculty explained about the awareness day of Cancer. 

                        3. Some of our students explained about the importance of this Awareness Day. 

                        4. Why the india has a high death rate? 

                        5. Promoting mandatory screeninngs for women. 

                       6. Preventing cancer causing behaviour. 

National Education Day:

On the occasion of National education day, students have participated in several activities to make awareness and importantance of education for our lives. The activities they are participated in essay writing competition. 

     All teaching and Non teaching staff participated in the meeting and gave valuable speecha to the students. 

     Students were motivated and inspired by their words. 

World pneumonia Day : 

             we celebrate world pneumonia day on 13.11.2022 at our college. 

                     1. In this occasion, the Principal, Vice Principal, all the Staff Members and all groups of students 

                         are participated. 

                     2. Faculty from Department of  Zoology explained about the pneumonia disease. It is a lung based infection

                         caused by bacteria, viruses and fungi. 

                    3. Some of our students explained the reasons of the pneumonia symptoms, precautions and medicines for this disease 

                     4. This day marks as  early diagnosis of the disease to seek the necessary steps to prevent the disease. 

December:

Constitution Day:

              Constitution has its own privilege and important in India. Addressing the important Principal,  Staff and students have started the programme through preamble.

Students have delivered speech on contents of constitution about DR.B.R.Anbedkar, few students have extended their tribute to our constitution through patriotic songs.

Human Rights Day:

                        Fundamrntals rights and duties being the philosophical foundation of Indian constitution was celebrated as Human Rights Day on 10th December 2022.The students have created awareness on the proper utilization of human rights and not to exploit the country thorugh missuse of hese fundaments rights.

world AIDS Day:

We celebrate world AIDS Day on December 1st 2022 in our college. 

1. In this program all the Faculty, students along with Principal and Vice Principal participated

2. To create awareness among the public about this disease we conduct a rally from our college to near village Gummadavalli along with pHC staff of PV project. 

3. In this rally student s hold the placards and gave slogons regarding AIDS precautions, and prevention. 

Human Rights Day: Fundamentals rights and duties being the philosophical foundation of Indian Constitution was celebrated as Human Rights Day on 10th Dec 2022.

The students have created awareness on the proper intilization of human rights and not to exploit the country through misuse of these fundamental rights. 

World computer Lireracy Day:

         Every year on 02.12.2022, whole world celebrate the "International Computer Literacy Day". The aim is to highlight the importance of computer literacy, which is essential for the present time. The days promotes technical skills the especially in children and women aims to inspire them to learn more and make their work easier by the use computers.

  • On this day our students gave awareness on computers by the dance, skits and shows the some various components of system.

National Farmers Day:

            We celebrate National Farmers Day on December 23rd 2022 in our college. 

1. In this program all the Faculty, Students and Principal, Vice Principal  also participated. 

2. BZC student s prepared charts regarding the efforts of farmer. 

2. Student s sing a song for the contribution of a farmer to our Country. 

3. Student s perform a skit on the life style of a farmer. 

 

International Biodiversity Day:

         As a part of Academic calender we have to celebrate and give awareness of about Biodiversity celebrate on 29.12.2022 is International Biodiversity Day. 

1. All the faculty and students have participated. 

2. Students are actively participated with flow diagrams and charts and speeches rewarding importance of               Biodiversity. 

3.Student s explained conservation of biodiversity, what are the steps to be taken by the government to protection of wildlife animals, flora and fouma. 

4. Conservation of Biodiversity is minimum responsibility of Human being.

January:

National youth Day:

                    We have celebrated Natinal youth Day on 12th January 2023.The birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda we celebrated Natinal Youth Day. 

                    Each and every student enthusiastically participated in this programme. Few students deoeverd speech about Swami Vivekananda, his contribution to indias freedom movement and regeration of nationalism is immensive. 

                                  Some faculty memebers also give speech on this occasion. They said that this year Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the festival on January 13th in Huballi, karnataka. According to an official release, the 26th National youth festival will be celebrated as Green youth festival where only reusable cuttery, napkins etc wiil be used. 

National voters Day:

                             In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government on India has decide to celebrate January 25th every year as National Voters Day. It has been started from 25th January 2011 to mark the foundation day on "Election Commission of India".

1.As a part of Academic calendar we celebrated Nationql voters Day on 25th January, 2023 at our college. 

2.On this occasion, we conducted essay writing competition on the topic" THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN PROTECTING INDIAN DEMOCRACY ".

3.All the final year and first year students participated in this essay writing competition. In this essay writing competition K. Bhargavi from 3rd B. Com(CA) got 1st place, B.Sravani from 3rd B. com(CA) got 2nd place and V. Swaroopa rani from 1st MPCs got 3rd place. 

World Leprosy Day:

          As a part of Academic calender we celebrated World Leprosy Day on 30.01.2023 at our college. 

        1.All the Students, Staff and Vice Principal participate sle in this program. 

        2.Students prepared charts regarding the program and they play a siit about untouchability of 

           Leprosy Day. 

       3.Life Science Department explained about the causes, precautions, treatment about this disease. 

       4.Create awareness among the students about leprosy with this program.

Martry Day -NCC:

   Every year ,on January 30, India celebrates martrys day by paying Tribute to mahatma Gandhis samadhi at Raj Ghat in Delhi.As per the intsructions recieved from head officethrough academic calender and also from NCC 11(T) Bn, kmm. Our college NCC wing (SW) celebrated Martrys Day (Shaheed Divas) on 30.01.2022.
