The Department of Computer Science aims to impart high quality education to under-graduate students as well as to carry out cutting edge technology in various disciplines of Computer Science.

The programs which are offered by the department focus on preparing the students for wide range of IT careers equipping them with unique experience - moulding tomorrow's technocrats with high calibre.

The Department of Computer Science started functioning from 2017 in TTWR Degree College(Boys), Manuguru, Bhadradri Kothagudem(Dist) imparting Computer Knowledge for the Degree Students as per the guidelines of the Kakatiya University.

Strengths:

• We the department of Computer Science is dedicated towards the work and ever available to students for their progress.
• Practical based learning is encouraged with the use of latest ICT class room methods for effective teaching and learning process.
• PG Coaching for the Computers students to pursue their higher education.
• We are also providing TASK classes for the students who are willing to gain employment after immediate completion of their degree.
• Providing computer lab for non-branch students to improve their technical knowledge.

Weaknesses:

• Our Students are from Rural background till their Intermediate they don’t have Computer’s related Subject.
• In their initial stage it is very typical to push them into subject.

Opportunities:

The growing demand for the computer education becomes very common now a days because of automation everywhere else.

Challenges:

• Our students are from rural areas and not equipped with English language skills acts as a major challenge.
• Being a Residential institution, the big challenge is to convince parents to send their wards for the higher education

Future Plans:

The Future plans of the department are:

• To start PG courses to cater and fulfil the needs of higher education.
• To offer certificate course in each semester to enhance the various skills of the
• students.
• To Conduct campus placements with the help of Gurukulam, ITDA Bhadrachalam and TASK.
