Department of BOTANY
The Department of Botany was established in the year of 2017 with the courses at Graduate level, B.Sc. with the combination of Botany, zoology. chemistry and brought a new group in Life Science with the combination of Botany, zoology, Microbiology in the Academic year 2017-18.The Department is Lab is Located in the First Floor of the College building. The Lab is spacious and well equipped with internet facility to cater the needs of all students in the Lab that can be accommodated. The Lab consists of some specimens, slides, microscopes, some other etc.. Also the Lab is supported with auto clave. Other lab items is there.
Vision
To create the most conducive environment for quality academic for undergraduates in Botany and prepare the students for a globalised technological society and orient them towards serving the society.
Mission
To create, share, and apply knowledge in Botany including in interdisciplinary areas that extend the scope of botany and benefit humanity, to educate students to be successful, and effective life-long learners who will
contribute positively to the economic wellbeing of our region and nation and who are prepared to tackle complex 21st Century challenges facing the world. To impart quality professional training at the undergraduate level with an emphasis on basic principles of botany.To impart moral and ethical values, and interpersonal skills to the students. To empower the students with the required skills to solve the complex technological problems of modern society and also provide them with a framework for promoting collaborative and multidisciplinary activities.

Objectives of the Department
As Information Technology has become an integral part of education and life style the department focuses on preparing young minds for the globally challenging opportunities in the govt and private sectors.Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in botany programs will be actively contributing individually and in teams.
