DIGITAL LEARNING:
The college has a big projector and screen placed in the seminar hall. The faculty and students use this digital space for learning lessons, PPT presentations, Seminar presentations, and so on. Students and faculty have also used this for conducting quizzes, debates, and book reviews. Educational videos and documentaries are played on screen and students make the best use of them.
FLIPPED CLASS:
In the traditional model of classroom instruction, the teacher is typically the central focus of a lesson and the primary disseminator of information during the class period. The teacher responds to questions while students defer directly to the teacher for guidance and feedback.
The flipped classroom intentionally shifts instruction to a learner-centered model in which time in the classroom is used to explore topics in greater depth and create meaningful learning opportunities while students are initially introduced to new topics outside of the classroom. Sometimes, students take over the role of a teacher and explain the topic through the understanding of a student, and thus invite the attention of their fellow students. Overall, the flipped classroom is gaining popularity and more and more students are willing to participate in this modern method.
