Our College has been one of 22 Tribal Welfare Residential Degree colleges that have been established in the State of Telangana under the aegis of TTWREIS, Tribal Welfare, Gurukulam as part of the KG to PG free education policy of the Government of Telangana during the academic year 2016/17. These Degree colleges have been the higher educational needs of the students of underprivileged and unprivileged sections of the society and to enhance their confidence levels acquiring the highest level of academic excellence coupled with excellent communication skills and the other interpersonal skills to transform themselves into the best citizens of the Nation.

The TTWREIS Tribal Welfare Gurukulam has been originated from the APTWREIS which was established in the year 1984.The Government of Telangana giving utmost importance to the education and has resolved to provide KG to PG free education policy to provide free education and in the year 2017 was the beginning of (22) TTWRDCs in the state of Telangana Vide G.O Ms. No. 40, Dt: 06.07.2017.

Among those (22) TTWRD Colleges 7 colleges were allocated to men to flourish themselves into the highly Knowledgeable students to compete with their counter parts from the upper strata of the society. The other 15 colleges have been allocated to women.

ABOUT COLLEGE: TTWRDC JANGAON
The college is located in the area of shameerpet village at the residence of rented private engineering college named as Prasad Engineering College.
ESTABLISHMENT:
The college is established since 04-09-2017. The college has been started with a proposal of 7 Groups, but the admissions got into only three groups such as B.Com(CA), B.Sc (B.Z.C), B.Sc(M.P.Cs),B.Sc(M.St.Cs) with an intake of maximum capacity 40 in each Group. Our college has been started with a total of 43 students with the above-mentioned groups.

PRINCIPAL: The Principal post is sanctioned by the office of the secretary TTWREIS, AP, Hyderabad. The details of the Principal from 2017 to till date are as follows:
Dr. B. Mallesham retired Lecturer in chemistry, appointed as Principal, FAC on 4th September 2017. He continued his services in the period from 4th September 2017 to 5th April 2018.
As Smt K. Arunakumari, who is working as a Principal, of Junior College at TTWRJC, Deverakonda, got a promotion and appointed as DL in Zoology at TTWRDC, Janagaon on 6th March 2018. She worked as Vice Principal for some days and later she has been taken the charge as Principal, FAC on 6th April 2018. She continued her services as Principal for more than a year and on a Deputation basis, she went to Special College in the month of November 2019.
Recently Sri B. Shankar was placed as Principal(FAC) through proper channel i.e. from the Secretary, TTWREIS vide interview conducted and appointed as Principal(FAC) on 18th November 2019.

As Dr.M.Haripriya FAC Regular DL has taken charge on July 2nd 2020 to 21st June 2024 and she transred to TTWRDC(Women), Medak.

Recently Dr.G.Sandhyarani appointed as Regular Principal on 22nd July 2024.
