INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY:

on 21/06/2024 in our college we celebrated international yoga day. in this programme students are participated very effectively and they showed some yoga posturers to the other students.which is very helpful in proper maintaing of health..yoga is helpful to the mental and as well as physical relaxation to the body.by doing yoga every day we can maitain our health in good condition .

 

 

EARTH  DAY

EARTH DAY is celebrated around the world with a beautiful message - “Invest in Our Planet", calling for businesses to shift towards sustainable practices.
Earth Day is a proof that even one person can make a global impact in a positive way. Echoing the same, Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College Nizamabad celebrated “The Earth Day”- 22nd April which is schedule to celebrate on 24th April through a series of activities conducted by Computer Science Department in collaboration with Physics Department. Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 every year but due to a general holiday we have celebrated it on next working day which is on 24th of same month.
Array of creative events were organized with a view to sensitize the students about the conservation of natural resources and to motivate them to do their bit towards making their planet even more beautiful. 
Earth Day was celebrated through educational and action-oriented activities that were fun. 
To start with, the students learnt the importance of the Earth Day and the need to preserve and conserve their self-sustaining planet. Students expressed their views through Essay Writing and Painting Competitions based on the theme. The students participated in these activities with great zeal and enthusiasm showcasing their artistic and creative skills.

Youth Day

Today as a part of “Youth Day” BBA department has organized “poster presentation” competition to all students.so all the students actively participated in the programme.this year the National Youth day 2023 theme is ViksitYuva -ViksitBharat.In India ,National youth day is celebrated to promote awareness of people rights and to provide information about them.We keeping the ideas of Swami Vivekananda alive and motivating young people is the main objective of the celebration.

Social Justice Day

a part of social Justice Day we the BBA department has conducted a program in the college. As a part of it we have conducted an essay writing competition for all the students. World day of social justice 2023 will focus on the recommendation of our common agenda to strengthen global solidarily and to rebuild trust in government.The main objective is to raise a voice against social justice and to bring various communities across the world together.

It is to help eliminate poverty,gender,physical discrimination and religious discrimination and make a more inclusive and networked society.

Consumer Rights Day

AS a part of Consumer Rights Day we the BBA Department has conducted programme.

We conducted Quize competition to all the students, all the students have actively participated and we also conducted elocution competition and also conducted make a Innovative products from the waste material to all the group.All the students have come up with different ideas and very attractive products and innovative

Students have performed a Drama, which was informed to be attentive while purchasing and telling about products contents expiry date etc.

The theme of world consumer rights day 2023, is “Empowering Consumer through clean energy transition .

The day also celebrated to protest against market abuses and social injustice which undermine consumer rights.

Heritage Day

Today as a part of Heritage Day  department  of BBA Collaborating with maths and chemistry department has organized poster presentation and elocution competition was conducted to all the group students.so all the students actively participated in the programme. 
And also we conducted seven Wonders of the  world exhibition by students. 
Students was took one by one they present these seven exhibition in the world. 
We said to students the day is to increase awareness  about the importance  of preserving cultural heritage sites and movement.

World Malaria Day

On the occasion of  World Malaria Day, the Departments of Microbiology and Botany conducted a power point presentation by students. The presentation aimed at educating the students about the causative agent of malaria, the symptoms, preventive measures, diagnosis and treatment. Students also spoke about various plants that can be used as natural mosquito repellents. GNM mam spoke to students on measures to be taken to prevent malaria.

 

World Water Day

World water day is celebrated on March 22,2023 by department of botany and chemistry accelarating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis ..painting, elocution and essay writing compititions are conducted .

 

ABOUT NSS UNIT
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The sole aim of the NSS is to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community service. NSS unit has been started at TTWRDC(W),NIZAMABAD in academic year 2020-2021with an intake of 100 volunteers, B. Suchitha DL in Chemistry is an Incharge for this. Students are very much interested and passionate about the activities conducted and show enthesiasm for participation.

NSS Activities:

1. As a part of NSS activity students of II and III year have cleaned college ground and surroundings of college, removed weeds and dry grass.

2. Students have cleaned Mess store, Dining hall and kitchen and arranged things properly.

3. To Commemorate "Constitution Day" on 26/11/2021 we have conducted Essay writing, Elocution and Monoacting competitions to students as a part of NSS activity and have rewarded them with prizes.

4. COVID Vaccination drive was arranged in college for students,staff and scavengers on 26th november.

5. On the event of " World AIDS Day" Quiz competition was conducted to students which was organized by department of Chemistry and Computer Science. NSS Volunteers have maintained discipline among the students participants and audience.

Guest Lecture Dept of Zoology

Today  Zoloogy Dept have conducted a Guest Lecture collaborating with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Nehru Yuva Kendra Sanghatan on International Women's Day 2022 Theme-Gender Equality. Today for A Sustainable Tomorrow, Regarding which we have invited Dr.Indu(Gynaecologist) MBBS,MS,OBG(Govt,Medical college/Hospital).
She addressed our students and faculty regarding the women health and hygiene and made us aware of health issues and solutions.She resolved the problems of our students and gave them good suggestions that how to be strong and healthy in this scientific era,and advised our students to avoid myths and superstitions which pull us back in attaining our goals in  this modern society and encouraged them to reach their Goals in future.
We are previliged to have her in our college.

 

International Safer Internet Day

This year, on 8th February we celebrated "International Safer Internet Day" with the slogan "Together for a better internet", it is an initiative to promote a safer internet for all users, especially young people. 
Poster presentation on "Online Safety" was conducted by Computer Science Department from 10:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M under the able guidance of Ms.Faizia Fathima, Head of Computer Science Department and supporting staff and students. Students prepared posters and exhibited with atmost interest, this encourages students to have an open and regular conversattions with their peers about Internet.The internet is an integral part of our lives, providing fantastic opportunities to learn, create and connect, but the online world also creates challenges.

Extension Lecturer Dept of BBA

BBA is a completely professional degree that interests students who are serious about getting into careers in business and management. Students can get placed in good companies right after getting their BBA degrees. ... BBA holders have the highest employment rate as compared to other bachelor's degrees. Lecture was delivered by Mr.K.Sampath Kumar DL in COMMERCE AND BBA NISHITHA arts & Science college.

PG COACHING:

Post graduation coaching for final year students has been conducted at our college for all the groups. It is conducted for final year students. It is conducted by concerned subject faculty and it is a good choice for the students to select their subject of interest for entering in Post graduation. We have conducted pg coaching classes daily from 3 pm to 5 pm after the regular classes. We also conduct weekend test on every Saturday, Grand test every month to check the improvement in the students. Our institution has so far given pg coaching subjects - Mathametics,Computerscience,Zoology, Botany, Chemistry,Employability,English and Telugu as most of the students have interest in these subjects. All the faculty altogether have done their best to knowledge by teaching the students and sure our students will shine up high in universitites.

The Science fair is an opportunity for students to apply the scientific method to conduct independent research. The results of each student's research is presented in a school-wide science fair--or sponsored local science fair-- where the student's efforts are displayed and where students are interviewed to determine scientific merit. Students who have been judged to have used the scientific method properly and who have demonstrated thoroughness in their studies and effort are awarded prizes and are advanced to compete in regional, state, national and international science fairs.

Manu Script:

In the context of library science, a manuscript is defined as any hand-written item in the collections of a library or an archive. For example, a library's collection of hand-written letters or diaries is considered a manuscript collection. Such manuscript collections are described in finding aids, similar to an index or table of contents to the collection, in accordance with national and international content standards

 No Saturday Disposal:

When plastic decomposing landfills they may leak pollutants into the soil and Surrounding environment. Hence the plastic wastage in the college and hostel surroundings is collected and stored, sent for recycling. This program is implemented on every Saturday. Workshop on CCTV and Fire Alaram Panel

Two days technical workshop was conducted by computer science department in collaboration with HSS training Institute on 'closed circuit television using DVR and fire alarm panel operating with fire detectors'.

Telangana University Conducted a Workshop On topic Advances in plant biology and ecology Eminent speakers from National science academies explained  very effectively ,creating and dragging intrest in students towards research field. Students who are attended for that workshop gained Knowledge from that. It was very useful for the Students.

Diary Writing:

A diary is a private place where you can keep your thoughts, feelings, and opinions on everything from work to school and everywhere in between. Every Student of Gurukulam is provided with a Daily every year and encourage them to write their thought which create new ideas, Record their memories and Strength their writing skills. Daily writing allows students to set and achieve their goals allow themselves to self – reflect and also boost their memory.

 CO-Operative Store(S-Mall) :

To encourage entrepreneurship and management skills among students, the Co-Operative store is established at each Gurukulam Institution. Students from Commerce Stream manages the store and the profit gained is used for further development of S-mall. The secretary TTWREIS has proposed to open an "S-Mall" (cooperative Stores) in att the TTWR Degree Colleges on par with TSWREIS which is more convenient to the students to meet their necessary provisions. 

 . The "S-Mall" (Cooperative Stores) will be run by the group of students with a motto that they should learn the activities involved in running the business 

 Purchase and sales records should be maintained thoroughly. Commerce lecturer should be the mentor - convenor to oversee the functioning of "S-Mall" (Cooperative Stores).

IMPACT Program:

IMPACT is a parent- Teacher interface in which parents discuss their children’s strengths and weaknesses. It allows the parents to know their children’s progress and to plan for their future. Teachers and principals motivate the students to report immediately after the holidays as this program is conducted before vacation. This program has gained a lot of responses from students.
