Extra Co-curricular Activities
As a part of the Extra Co-curricular Activities, the following are carried out:
Projects play a major role in a student's academic life as they provide exposure to realistic and technical translation of their book knowledge. Project based learning (PBL's) has grown as a powerful tool now-a-days and encompasses multiple learning techniques, Though non academic in nature, it revolves around the curriculum and encourages team work, collaborative thinking, problem solving, logical reasoning, time management etc.
1. The students of B.Com Final year have done a project on GST(Goods and Services Tax).

were part of the project and under the guidance their commerce faculty designed the project with the main objective of "How the GST works in India and what are the changes in the tax system, advantages and limitations.
The project is aimed to clearly bring about a picuture of the GST for a common man to understand.
2. Recently, the departments of Zoology, Chemistry and Botany has proposed to begin a Mini research project on Aqua ecology. The main objective of the project is to learn about the ecological patterns in present environmental conditions and its impact on the flora and fauna of the choosen waterbodies.
It gives students to learn the methodolgy of scientific study,establishing objectives of the study, identifcation and solution to the problem.
The proposed project is for one year encompassing 3 seasons-12 month study on various parameters such as Physico-chemcial properties, identifcation of biodiversity, season based behavioral patterns of the water bodies.
25 students would be given a chance to be part of the project and at the end of submission, students would be awarded certificates and faculty would present their research findlings in a journal.
